Pratibha Jani. She is a resident of NJ for over 37 years. She earned her BS in Ancient Indian history and Culture from the University of Bombay, India. Born and brought up in Mumbai-India, the practice of yoga was instilled in her at the age of 9 by her parents.
She is a certified and registered Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT )with extensive experience in therapeutic yoga for adults. She is an experienced E- RYT 200 with the Yoga Alliance. She is a certified Meditation Instructor. She has over 2000 hours of teaching experience. She has been practicing and teaching Yoga for over 25 years. Her love for Yoga only grew stronger with time.
She has taught at the senior centers, at colleges, lifelong learning centers, behavioral health care centers and hospitals as well as personal and small group therapy yoga and meditation. Her style of teaching is authentic, traditional (From India) and in the true sense YOGA for mind, body and intellect. Her passion is to Teach

Her knowledge of yoga comes from various institutions and classes over the years including The Santacruz Yoga Institute-Mumbai India. She has over 17 years of yoga teaching experience in the USA.
Since 2007 she has been teaching Gentle-Beginner Yoga, Meditation, Corporate Yoga and Basic Fundamentals of Yoga and yogic philosophy at various organizations including seminars and workshops of her own.
Between 1999 and 2005, she volunteered as the lead teacher and program creator at Matawan yoga center Sunday school for children ages 7 yrs to 16 yrs, teaching yoga yogic philosophy ,and Indian languages such as Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi, as well as Sanskrit shlokas with meanings from the Bhagwad Gita and other scriptures.
She volunteered at Parsippany Sunday school as a yoga teacher for students aged 7 yrs to 18 yrs. She enjoys working equally with children and adults.
Since 2007, She conducts her own Adult and Senior/Chair yoga/Gentle therapeutic
and beginner YOGA and meditation classes. Her adult students enjoy the non competitive, de-stressing and relaxation programs which help them get energized and rejuvenated.
Summer of 2007 (07/07 to 08/07) she completed an intensive training program in Classical Ashtanga Yoga from one of the world’s oldest organized Yoga Institute, at Santacruz, Mumbai India. Besides being a Yoga /meditation instructor and a mother of two, in her spare time, she has been sharing her passion of Healthy vegetarian cooking, and Sanskrit chants and prayers with the world on her you tube channel and her blog sites. She Believes that Patanjali's Yoga sutras are one of the best creations for Human Kind and every one should try and follow at least one of the eight fold paths to lead and fulfilling life.
