Pratibha Jani.

She is a resident of NJ for over 22 years. She earned her BA in Ancient Indian history and Culture from the University of Bombay,India. Born and
brought up in Mumbai-India, the practice of yoga was instilled in her at the age of 9 by her parents. She is an experienced
E- RYT with the
Yoga Alliance and a member of the Yoga Journal community.  She has over 1000 hours of teaching experience. She has been practicing
and teaching Yoga for over 20 years. She is also CPR and first aid certified. Her love for practicing and teaching Yoga grew stronger with
time.  
She has been a free lance - Cultural /Educational tour Guide in India for over 6 years before moving to the US and enjoyed every minute of it.

In her spare time, she does writing and translation in English and various Indian languages including sanskrit shlokas from Bhagwad Gita. She
runs quick/easy and healthy Vegetarian recipe classes.   

Her knowledge of yoga comes from various institutions and classes over the years. The Santacruz Yoga Institute-Bombay India and The Yoga
Vedanta Seva Ashram [in Matawan , NJ],to mention a couple. She has over twelve years of children’s yoga teaching experience in the US.
Between 1999 and 2005, she volunteered as the lead teacher and program creator at Matawan yoga vedanta center Sunday school for
children ages 7yrs to 16 yrs, teaching  yoga,and Indian languages such as Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi, as well as Sanskrit shlokas with
meanings from the Bhagwad Gita.
Since 2005 she volunteers at Parsippany Sunday school as a yoga teacher for students aged 7 yrs to 18 yrs. She enjoys working equally with
children and adults.
She conducts senior/chair yoga/ meditation classes.
Her adult students enjoy the non competitive,de-stressing and relaxation programs which help them get energized and rejuvenated.

During the summer of 2007 (07/07 to 08/07) she completed an intensive training program in Classical Ashtanga Yoga from one of the world’s
oldest organized Yoga Institute, “The Yoga Institute”- at Santacruz,  Mumbai India.

Besides being a Yoga instructor and a mother of two teenagers, she brings with her over 9 years of corporate experience.

She Believes that Patanjali's Yoga sutras are one of the best creations for Human Kind and every one should try and follow at least one of the
eight fold paths to lead and fulfilling life.
